Traditional New Year's resolutions rarely result in meaningful long-term change, and can often have a detrimental effect on mental health when not kept.  Instead, in this workshop participants will be introduced to a broader, more freeing approach by choosing a personal "Word of the Year" as a guiding principle. 

In a safe and nuturing atmosphere, participants will be guided through an exercise of self-reflection in order to determine a word which resonants deeply with personal values and stage of life. We will then make a simple piece of jewelry as a reminder of our word.

All supplies will be provided. 

Here are a few important things to note about this workshop:

-Free parking is available in the lot to the northeast of the building.

-All materials will be provided. However, you may wish to bring your favorite pen and perhaps a personal notebook.
