About the Event

During this guided Self-Talk...Helpful or Harmful? workshop, we will consider categories and types of self-talk:  What are we regularily saying to ourselves, and is it encouraging or discouraging?

Participants will be invited to create a skin scrub from natural ingredients as a reminder of what kind of messages we want to "stick" and what we want to let go of.

All supplies will be provided.  However, participants may bring favorite pens and/or markers from home if they'd like.

Here are a few important things to note about this workshop:

-Free parking is available in the lot to the west of the building. Please be mindful to park only in spots designated for Tippecanoe Arts Federation.

-All materials will be provided.  However if you would like, you are welcome to bring your own markers or pens for use during our creative time.

-Masks are required to cover nose and mouth for the entirety of this workshop, and social distancing will be practiced.

-A full listing of summer and fall workshops can be found on my website, https://www.abednegocreations.com/ or by following my FB page, https://www.facebook.com/AbednegoCreations

Creative Intermission Workshops are designed as an intentional "pause" for participants who typically spend much time and energy caring for others--sometimes forgetting the element of self-nurture. These workshops will be a safe place to relax, reflect, and breathe--the emphasis is on having fun and feeding the spirit rather than making a polished finished product.
