About the Event

Expressing gratitude more frequently improves quality of life for ourselves as well as those around us.  In this guided Practicing Gratitude Workshop we will be learning a bit about recent research findings, talking about different ways to express gratitude, and then making a handmade notecard to send to someone special.  No previous art experience is necessary!

All supplies will be provided. However, participants may bring favorite pens and/or markers from home if they'd like.

Here are a few important things to note about this workshop:

-If you are a Museum Member and wish to receive the member discount on this class, you MUST register on the museum website, https://www.artlafayette.org/classes. I cannot refund the member discount if you register on my site.

-Free parking is available in the lot to the northeast of the building.

-All materials will be provided. However if you would like, you are welcome to bring your own markers or pens for use during our creative time.

-A full listing of workshops can be found on my website, https://www.abednegocreations.com/ or by following my FB page, https://www.facebook.com/AbednegoCreations

Creative Intermission Workshops are designed as an intentional "pause" for participants who typically spend much time and energy caring for others--sometimes forgetting the element of self-nurture. These workshops will be a safe place to relax, reflect, and breathe--the emphasis is on having fun and feeding the spirit rather than making a polished finished product.
